On the Fourth of July in 2022, a dispute that began in Roseville, Michigan, escalated into a fatal encounter in the nearby city of Fraser, ending the life of 28-year-old JaRay Robertson. The incident, which authorities would later describe as an execution, unfolded in the early morning hours in an apartment complex parking lot.
