In the late hours of a December night in Madison Heights, Michigan, the life of David Willis II, a 37-year-old man, was brought to a violent and tragic end. Just after midnight on December 19, 2022, as Willis was leaving a local restaurant, an SUV approached him in the parking lot. Following a verbal exchange, a series of gunshots shattered the night's quiet. Willis was struck multiple times by gunfire originating from the vehicle, which then fled the scene.
