Ruby Neal Harris, a four-year-old girl from Kosciusko, Mississippi, tragically lost her life on January 8, 1950. Her death was part of a horrific incident known as the Harris Family Murder. On that fateful night, an ex-convict and moonshiner named Leon Turner, along with two brothers, Malcolm and Wendell Whitt, forcibly entered the home of Thomas Harris. The intruders' intent was to assault the women in the household, but the situation escalated violently.
