Christina Michelle Menefee, a 16-year-old student from Pearl, Mississippi, tragically lost her life on October 1, 1997, during the Pearl High School shooting. The perpetrator, Luke Woodham, was a fellow student who carried out the attack after killing his mother earlier that morning. Woodham, armed with a rifle, entered the school and fatally shot Christina Menefee, who was his former girlfriend, along with another student, Lydia Kaye Dew.
