Kenneth "Kim" Charles Daves, aged 53, was tragically found dead on July 29, 2015, at his family-owned K&M Grocery store in Coila, Mississippi. The Carroll County Sheriff's Office received a call around 9:30 p.m. reporting that one of the store owners was lying on the floor behind the counter. Upon arrival, deputies discovered that Daves had been shot to death with a large caliber weapon, most likely a handgun.
