Jayla Sandifer, a 12-year-old girl from Lumberton, Mississippi, tragically lost her life on July 30, 2015. Jayla was shot and killed at her grandparents' home on Spring Street. The incident occurred around 8:58 p.m., and she was pronounced dead at the scene by Lamar County Deputy Coroner Anna Miller.
