Shannon Lamb, a 45-year-old college instructor, died on September 14, 2015, from a self-inflicted gunshot wound as police closed in on him in Greenville, Mississippi. Lamb was a suspect in the murders of two individuals: Amy Prentiss, his live-in girlfriend, and Ethan Schmidt, a history professor at Delta State University in Cleveland, Mississippi.
