In the summer of 2016, a tragedy unfolded in a normally quiet corner of Mississippi. Darrel Glen Jordan, a 64-year-old man, was found dead at a residence on Eret Road, near the State Line community in Wayne County. The quiet of that July day was shattered when deputies and investigators from the Wayne County Sheriff's Department were called to the scene of a violent incident.
