Pamela, a dedicated postal carrier for the U.S. Postal Service, was delivering mail on her route when the incident occurred. She was born on March 19, 1962, to Mary Carmen Gibbons and the late J.B. Gibbons in Harrisburg, Illinois. Pamela was well-loved in her community and known for her friendly and outgoing nature.
