Newie Rushing, a 71-year-old resident of Osyka, Mississippi, died on October 8, 2017. According to reports, he was shot and killed by his wife, Susan Rushing, at their home. The incident occurred after Susan claimed that Newie had threatened to kill her, their children, and their grandchildren. When the authorities arrived at the scene, they found Susan lying on the floor, crying and still holding the handgun used in the shooting.
