On November 27, 2017, Alex Jennings Jr., aged 26, and his father, Alex Jennings Sr., aged 47, were found shot to death in a car on Mississippi Highway 16, east of U.S. Highway 61 in Rolling Fork, Mississippi. The Sharkey County Coroner, Angela Eason, confirmed that both men had been shot multiple times, including in the head.
