In the late morning of a December day in Picayune, Mississippi, a confrontation on a street corner tragically cut short the life of 19-year-old Sarai Bagley. The young woman, a resident of Picayune, died from a single gunshot wound to the chest on Tuesday, December 5, 2017. The events that led to her untimely death began to unfold around 10:22 a.m. at the intersection of Bender and Beech streets.
