In the early morning hours of December 15, 2018, the life of 18-year-old Makailuis L. Johnson, a male from Natchez, Mississippi, was tragically cut short. Johnson was in a vehicle with two other individuals near 617 East Stiers Lane when an unknown person approached and opened fire. The assailant, armed with what authorities believe was a high-powered rifle, shot Johnson multiple times.

The Adams County Coroner was called to the scene at 3:41 a.m. and pronounced Johnson dead at 4:10 a.m. ...
