Pheonecia Ratliff, a 23-year-old woman from Canton, Mississippi, tragically lost her life on May 15, 2020, in a harrowing incident that culminated in a murder-suicide. Pheonecia was a student at Jackson State University, where she was set to graduate in December 2020. She was also a mother to a young daughter, Jordyn. Her life was cut short by her ex-boyfriend, Jamarquis Black, who had a history of domestic violence and stalking against her.
