On Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at approximately 5:45 p.m., Danny Mitchell was shot and killed in the parking
lot of an apartment complex located at 1700 West Ocotillo Road in Phoenix. Robbery appeared to be the
motive for the crime as Danny’s vehicle was stolen. It was recovered unoccupied a short time later.
