In the spring of 2021, the community of Picayune, Mississippi, was shaken by a fatal shooting that claimed the life of 41-year-old Craig Thomas McDonald. On the morning of Sunday, April 11th, on Fern Drive, McDonald was shot and killed in an incident that authorities would later describe as gang-related.
