In the spring of 2021, on a tragic Friday in Jackson, Mississippi, the life of 45-year-old James Anthony McGruder, a Black/African American male, was violently cut short. On April 16th, McGruder was found deceased on Pinebrook Drive, the victim of a brutal triple homicide. He was not alone in death; two other men, Kendarrius Robertson, 26, and James Cox, 27, also lost their lives in the same incident.
