Regina Smith Hopkins, aged 51, tragically lost her life on August 10, 2021, in Coahoma, Mississippi. She was found dead at the scene of a shooting incident that also claimed the life of a 14-year-old boy and left multiple others injured. The Coahoma County Sheriff's Office, along with the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation, launched an investigation into the incident, which occurred during a family gathering to mourn a recently deceased loved one.
