In the early hours of a late June morning in 2022, the quiet of Potts-camp, Mississippi, was broken by a single gunshot that ended the life of 28-year-old Jeffery Kane Sartin. The incident unfolded on June 27th behind a residence on Betts Road, where Sartin was found unresponsive on a sidewalk. The male victim had sustained a fatal gunshot wound.
