Jamarison Keshawn Rogers, an 18-year-old from Jackson, Mississippi, tragically lost his life on August 8, 2022, during a party at the Wingate Hotel in Ridgeland, Mississippi. The incident occurred during a gathering of friends and acquaintances in a hotel room, where an argument escalated into a physical altercation. According to Ridgeland Police Chief Brian Myers, the altercation resulted in Rogers being fatally shot by Johnterrius Demond Murriel, a 21-year-old from Jackson.
