Travis Jones, an 18-year-old high school senior from Lake, Mississippi, tragically lost his life on October 13, 2022. Jones, a football player at Lake High School, was shot while driving his vehicle on Johnson Town Road in Lake. According to Scott County Coroner Van Thames, Jones was alone in his vehicle when he was shot, causing his vehicle to crash into the woods. The incident occurred in the afternoon, and authorities reported that multiple shots were fired at the scene.
