In the summer of 2015, the life of 35-year-old Laura East was tragically cut short in a violent act that unfolded in the parking lot of the Norman Regional HealthPlex in Norman, Oklahoma. On July 17th, Laura was at the hospital visiting her mother when she was confronted by her estranged husband, Darrel East. The encounter, which began with a request to talk, quickly escalated into a fatal shooting.
