In the summer of 2017, the community of Jay, Oklahoma, mourned the loss of a well-known local attorney. William C. 'Bill' Reppart Jr., a 64-year-old male, was found deceased on July 24, 2017. His death was the result of a shooting incident. The Jay Police Department, along with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, was called in to look into the circumstances surrounding the event.
