In a tragic turn of events on a Wednesday evening in April 2019, a heated argument between a father and son escalated to a fatal confrontation at their home north of Pawhuska, Oklahoma. Travis Kirchner, a 45-year-old male, was shot and killed by his son, 23-year-old Ty Kirchner. The dispute, which occurred around 8:30 p.m., ended with Travis Kirchner sustaining a fatal gunshot wound.
