In the summer of 2019, the life of Lemuel McCoy, a 39-year-old Black/African American man, was tragically cut short in Oklahoma City. On Friday, June 7, 2019, McCoy was fatally shot in an apartment complex on the northwest side of the city. The incident prompted an immediate investigation by local law enforcement.
