In the early hours of a Monday morning in Luther, Oklahoma, the life of 60-year-old James Edward Womack was brought to a sudden and violent end. On April 6, 2020, law enforcement responded to a 911 call that came in just after midnight, directing them to a residence on the border of Lincoln and Oklahoma counties. Upon arrival, deputies from the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office made a grim discovery in the front doorway of the home: the body of a male, later identified as James Edward Womack.
