On a tragic day in August of 2002, the life of 50-year-old Carol L. Petit of Princeton, Wisconsin, was cut short. Her death, which occurred on August 19th, was not discovered until three days later, on August 22nd, when a concerned relative made a grim discovery. It was Carol's aunt who found her and her husband, Roger, in their living room.
