Joey Crotteau, a 20-year-old from Meteor, Wisconsin, tragically lost his life on November 21, 2004, in a horrific incident known as the 'Deer Woods Massacre.' On that fateful day, Joey was among a group of hunters in the Blue Hills region of northern Wisconsin when Chai Soua Vang, a 36-year-old Hmong immigrant from St. Paul, Minnesota, opened fire on them.
