On a summer evening in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the life of 20-year-old Dominic Hill, a Black male, was cut short by a barrage of gunfire. On August 18, 2014, Hill was inside his parked car near the intersection of 47th and Center Streets when witnesses reported hearing between ten and eleven gunshots. Despite being gravely wounded, Hill managed to drive for less than a block before crashing his vehicle near a building on Center Street, where he succumbed to his injuries.
