In the winter of 2015, in Madison, Wisconsin, a violent encounter set in motion a chain of events that would ultimately lead to the death of Trevon D. Townsend. On January 9th of that year, Trevon was present during an attempted robbery. The man attempting the robbery, Kamonzi Turner, was trying to rob a drug dealer and brandished a firearm.
