On a quiet Sunday night in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, the life of 31-year-old Kenneth Patterson, a Black male, was tragically cut short. On March 13, 2016, Patterson was found with a fatal gunshot wound in a home on the west side of the city. His death was quickly ruled a homicide, launching an investigation that would lead to arrests but leave a community with lingering questions.
