On a cold February day in 2017, the community of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, was shaken by a tragic event that unfolded within the walls of a home on Crescent Avenue. Karie Lantz, a 44-year-old Caucasian woman, was found deceased in her residence on Monday, February 6th. Her life, which many remembered as vibrant and full of love for her family, came to an untimely and devastating end.
