On a cold February day in 2017, the community of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, was shaken by a tragic event that unfolded within the walls of a home on Crescent Avenue. Karie Lantz, a 44-year-old Caucasian woman, was found deceased in her residence on Monday, February 6th.
