In the small community of Bayfield, Wisconsin, a long-simmering animosity between two neighbors tragically erupted into fatal violence on the evening of May 8, 2020. Michael Kinney, a 64-year-old Caucasian male, was shot and killed, bringing a shocking end to a years-long dispute. The man responsible, his neighbor Randy Erickson, then 62, would later be held accountable for the killing.
