An African American woman, 53-year-old Katrita J. Williams, died on April 21, 2022, in a shooting in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The incident occurred near 48th and Clarke, where authorities were called to the scene just before noon. The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office later identified Williams as the victim of the fatal shooting.
