On a tragic day at Fairchild Air Force Base in Washington, Alan Wade London, a 40-year-old White male, lost his life in a horrific act of violence. On June 20, 1994, a gunman opened fire at the base hospital, forever changing the lives of many. London was among the four individuals fatally shot during the rampage that also left 22 others wounded. The other victims who perished in the attack were Anita Louise Knight Lindner, 39, Christin F. McCarron, 8, and Dr. Thomas Erwin Brigham, 31.
