On an April afternoon in Arlington, Washington, a young Caucasian mother named Jessica Jones, aged 25, was found in the garage of her boyfriend's grandparents' home with a gunshot wound to her head. The incident occurred on April 8, 2014. She was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, but tragically succumbed to her injuries the following day.
