On the night of April 25, 2014, Ronnie Brown, a 36-year-old man, was fatally shot in the Leschi neighborhood of Seattle's Central District. The shooting occurred on 28th Avenue South and South Charles Street, just steps from the home of a local resident who rushed to his side and held his hand in his final moments.
