In the early morning hours of October 18, 2014, a dispute between two young men in a quiet Oak Harbor, Washington, neighborhood escalated to a fatal conclusion. Adam Garcia, a 21-year-old Hispanic male, was shot and killed, leaving his family and friends to grapple with a sudden and violent loss. The incident unfolded around 3:15 a.m. at the intersection of Southwest Fairhaven Drive and Southwest Castilian Drive, where Garcia sustained a gunshot wound to the face and died at the scene.
