In the summer of 2015, the life of Edward Grant, a 51-year-old Black/African American man, came to an end in Seattle, Washington. On July 14th of that year, Grant passed away under circumstances that remain largely shielded from public view. The King County Medical Examiner's Office, the authority responsible for investigating sudden, violent, or otherwise unexpected deaths, handled his case.
