On a Sunday morning in June of 2017, a discovery was made in the Kmart parking lot in Chehalis, Washington, that brought a young woman's life to a tragic close. Twenty-five-year-old Jennifer E. Zamora, a White female from the nearby city of Centralia, was found deceased inside a 2001 Kia Rio on June 4, 2017. The initial report brought Chehalis police officers to the scene in the 1200 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue at 10 a.m.
Following an investigation into the circumstances
surrounding her death, the Lewis County Coroner's Office made a determination regarding the cause. It was announced that Jennifer Zamora died from a perforation gunshot wound. The manner of her death was officially ruled a suicide.
In the wake of the coroner's findings, there was no indication of foul play, and therefore no arrests were made in connection with her death.
