In the late hours of a November evening in 2017, a confrontation in a Des Moines parking lot turned deadly, claiming the life of 52-year-old Leonard Eliysares. The incident, which unfolded around 11 p.m. on November 28th, stemmed from a dispute. Eliysares, a male, was shot multiple times and was found by police in the driver's seat of his vehicle. He tragically succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
