In the heart of downtown Seattle, on a busy Wednesday, the life of 50-year-old Tanya Jackson was tragically cut short. On January 22, 2020, a dispute between several men erupted in gunfire at the intersection of Third Avenue and Pine Street, a bustling area of the city, especially during the evening rush hour. Jackson, an innocent bystander, was fatally wounded in the chaos that ensued. Seven other individuals were also injured in the shooting, including a 9-year-old boy.
