In the early spring of 2020, the life of 21-year-old Javon Johnson, a Black male, was tragically cut short in a burst of gunfire. On the evening of March 23rd, in the city of Seatac, Washington, Johnson was the victim of a fatal drive-by shooting. The violent act also claimed the life of another young man, 19-year-old Michael Williams, plunging two families into a shared, sudden grief.
