Aletha McGee, aged 62, was tragically killed on June 26, 2012, in Chicago. She was shot by her son, Earnest McGee, in her South Side home. According to reports, Earnest admitted to police that he "snapped" during an argument with his mother, whom he claimed was nagging him.
