In the quiet community of Deer Park, Washington, the life of 58-year-old Shannon Ayers came to a tragic end on January 18, 2022. That night, her husband, Dean Ayers, placed a call to 911 at 11 p.m. to report that his wife had shot herself in the head. When sheriff's deputies arrived at their home on North Perry Road, they found Shannon in the bedroom, still breathing but with a grievous gunshot wound.
