On the evening of June 26, 2022, a violent encounter in Othello, Washington, claimed the life of 50-year-old Hispanic male Felipe G. Garza. The incident unfolded around 8:30 p.m. near the railroad tracks in the 2200 block of West Charla Road. Authorities responded to reports of a shooting and discovered Garza with gunshot wounds. He was rushed to Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane for treatment but ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
