Randy Lacy, the Chief of Police in Clay City, Kentucky, was tragically killed on June 13, 2007, at the age of 55. Lacy, who had served as a law enforcement officer for 23 years, was transporting a suspect, James H. Barnett, who had been arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.
