In the summer of 2016, a 35-year-old Caucasian woman named Crystal Warner and her 38-year-old boyfriend, Robert 'Bobby' Jones, traveled to a remote cabin on Texas Mackville Road in Springfield, Kentucky. The date was July 3rd, and their purpose was to address a matter with their tenant, 52-year-old Craig Pennington, who had reportedly been evicted for failing to pay rent for several months and had not been in contact.
