In the quiet hills of Harlan County, a domestic dispute escalated into a fatal encounter, leaving a family fractured and a community in shock. Charles Webb, a 59-year-old White male, died on July 14, 2016, from multiple gunshot wounds. A former coal miner, Webb was a father and grandfather, whose life was cut short in the early morning hours at his home on Pope Hill Road in the Dressen community.
