In the late summer of 2016, the community of Danville, Kentucky, was struck by the sudden and tragic loss of one of its own. Allen Shearer Ramsey, a 29-year-old White male, passed away on September 28, 2016. Born and raised in Danville, Ramsey was a well-known and respected figure, deeply rooted in the local farming community. His life, however, was cut short by what was reported as an accidental shooting.
